Rabbi Carnie Rose will discuss Purim, the most jovial of our holy days. Yet the themes and issues raised in the Scroll of Esther are amongst the most serious and challenging that contemporary Jews face. Join Rabbi Carnie Rose for a fascinating exploration of these deep, existential and often overlooked lessons of Purim. All are welcome and no previous experience necessary.

Shir Ami (“Song of My People”) singing troupe performs Israeli, Yiddish, Ladino and American-Jewish music. Concert will benefit The Rabbi Robert P. Jacobs Jewish Fund for Human Needs (JFHN) which awards small grants
to social services agencies helping those in need throughout the St. Louis region.
